About David

My music is motivated by a deep sense of mystery and holiness, a passion for social justice, a search for beauty and the joy of making music together.

I was raised by music-educator parents, singing and playing instruments. I studied music theory and composition at the University of North Texas, electronic music at the Institute of Sonology in Utrecht, and I earned an MBA at the University of New Mexico. My early electronic music has been performed in Vancouver, Utrecht, Fort Worth, and Sydney. I’ve composed for theater productions performed in Chicago and New York City.
